Satire (i need your help!!!)  
Alright, so for school i have the option of writing a satire. Since i'm already writing two of the standard style analysis papers, i felt like i should take this opportunity to do soemthing else (also, the three papers are due wednesday, and i feel like a satire would be easier to write). Problem is, i don't know what to satire. I mean, obviously there are things i can make fun of, but it needs to go on for two or three pages. So, what would you like me to mock for three pages? ideas? anyone? please?

lol, it can't really be like a movie or something (from what i understand). that would just be too easy. thanks anyways.

btw, you okay? your last few posts haven't been too cheerful (granted, i do like pink's new album, but posting the lyrics to 'It's All Your Fault' kinda makes me worry about you).

I'm good. I just had a lot of things I needed to get off my chest and okay, my friends hate me now, but at least I feel better right? And the lyrics, it's how I was feeling at the time. Sometimes I still feel that way......

something more serious apparently. someone else suggested mocking religion, but i felt like that could easily offend my teacher, and i'd really like to keep kissing my teacher's ass as much as possible right now. ;)

if they're really your friends, they'll get over it. if they don't, you're better off without em. glad you're better though. *hugs* :)

Have you read Chuck Palahniuk? His books are britlliant and satirical - definitely worth a read for inspiration! :D Maybe just look up some quotations if you're busy?

i probably won't have time to read it before this paper is due (thursday), but i'll try looking up some quotations. (and i will try to pick up one of his books later because i do like satire quite a lot). Thanks!

I don't have a precise idea, but making fun of fanatics, any kind of fanatics, or a kind in particular. You know how anybody can say or do anything against what they're fanatic about. You know the kind.
